I was truly enchanted by the cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The King Room was beautifully furnished and featured a super comfy bed perfect for a restful night. The outdoor beer garden provided a lovely space to unwind while enjoying local cider offerings under the sun.

It’s not all bad, but it’s not all good.

The King Suite was a delightful experience! spacious and beautifully furnished, while dinner offered an excellent variety of real ales and top-notch meals.

Sadly, I experienced slow service during peak hours, which really took away from the overall ambience and enjoyment.

one would expect top-notch service here, but alas, I experienced slow service and missing robes and slippers. for such a so-called upscale establishment, you'd think they woudl ve been more accommodating. I almost considered a good review, but I just couldn’t get over the disappointments, frankly. the atmosphere was decent, but that doesn’t fix everything.

The location was stunning and the comfy beds felt like clouds. The beer garden was perfect during our leisurely afternoon.

It was just a fitting option for a brief sojourn in Withypool with best value. The dog-friendly room made our stay enjoyable, allowing us to relax comfortably. Consider trying the burgers instead of steaks for better value.

The room was fantastic with a super comfy bed, flat-screen TV, and a mini fridge. Loved the spacious private bathroom with amazing toiletries. Breakfast was to die for and served with a smile. The cozy pub atmosphere with log fires made it even better. Plus, the dog was treated like royalty!

the service in the bar was quite unfriendly 😒. the beer garden was a lovely setting to relax and the atmosphere was lively, with plenty of locals around. the drinks selection was impressive! ! really enjoyed the variety!

my stay at the royal oak inn was truly delightful! i had never been to withypool before, but this place totally exceeded my expectations with its cozy atmosphere and incredible food. the friendly service and super comfy beds made my relaxing break even better.
